Awesome repair after water damage caused by a leaky window

Our team investigated the water leakage issue in the living room window and determined that the cause was due to a gap in the flashing. To ensure that such leaks do not occur again in the future, we thoroughly sealed the window flashing.

Subsequently, we removed the affected drywall section and trim under the window sill and created new replacements for them. We fabricated a new drywall section, taped it and covered the joints with drywall compound, before sanding and priming the area. Our goal was to prevent any water damage issues from occurring again, and we accomplished that effectively.
